All advice welcomed! Exploded Spark Plug & Coil.
My Check Engine Light turned on.
Codes were regarding Misfires on Cylinder 3 & 4.
I figured it would either be the Spark Plugs or Valve Adjustment.
I attempt to change the Spark Plugs and realize that one Spark Coil is completely blown.
Then I realize the Spark Plug is also blown.
What could have been the cause of this? Any other precautions? What else should I look at?
For now I changed all the coils and plugs from my other s2000 motor...it should run properly, correct?

I would check the piston bore. Those parts went somewhere. Not all of them are on top in the plug hole unless I'm not seeing something. Are u missing your ground strap? The lower part of the plug looks like there was pre ignition involved. That is a potential major problem.
After thinking about this I bet you may have had a bad coil isolator that was allowing the coil to ground out the the pipe leading from the valve cover to the bottom near the spark-plug head. That could slowly overheat and eat away at your plug and coil. That still doesn't explain why the lower half of the plug is that deformed. That is usually caused by either piston contact or pre-ignition. If that was the cause it could come from excessive combustion temps or built up carbon or too low of a grade of fuel for the compression your running. Anyhow you will want to inspect that piston for damage and not drive it until your positive there is no damage to that cylinder bore or piston like metal particles that will do more damage.

Im thinkin that plug backed all the way out and was just sittin on top of the threads. So it got the blow torch effect for a few before everything just melted down.
Sucks. Its up to you at this point, try and put another plug in and see what it does, or have someone with a bore scope take a look in there and see what it looks like. Thats IF a plug will even start into the hole and hold torque.
Best case you got lucky, and not much will be needed. Worst case you could have cyl wall damage and need a new head.
Some shops can repair a plug hole well, some cant. More diag needed.

As stated, loose plug is the cause 100%. mechanics error.
Its funny how these threads come up at the same time.
Dont be next everyone, check your plug torque.
