Alignment with Wheels
Can I get an alignment with Volks on or should I put my factory wheels on?
Will there be any chance of them getting scratched when being aligned?

The car needs to be aligned on the wheels you plan on running. Especially when they are different diameters/offsets/widths.
Depending how the wheel lip is made, and how the alignment machine's heads attach some marks will be made on the wheels. Grabbing the outside of the rim is the best way to attach the heads and prevent scratches. No matter how they attach the heads, some mark will be made.

The heads on the Hunter alignment machine I use leave 4 5mm long marks on the rim between the rim and the outer bead of the tire. Even with padded hooks on the alignment head, the mark is present. If you don't securely attach the head, it will fall of and really damage the wheel.
You'd have to look at the wheel from 5 inches away with a magnifying glass to see them.
If you ever drive the car on the Volks, they will pick up marks/nicks/scratches. Rocks thrown up by the tires have left pits on my Work S2R's. It's gonna happen.

Scratches and marks can be avoided. Depends if the shop has decent machinery. I had mine doen recently and had no marks at all.
