ALIGNMENT
PLEASE HELP ME! I HAVE A MY03 PURCHASED USED WITH 9K MILES. IT NOW HAS 14K MILES. THE REAR TIRES SEEM TO WEAR EVENLY BUT THE FRONTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY WORN ON THE INSIDE TREAD. THE OUTSIDE IS OK. PRIOR TO SELECTING AND PURCHASING NEW TIRES I NEED TO GET FRONT END ALIGNMENT SPECS THAT WILL ALLEVIATE THE EXCESSIVE WEAR. THE HONDA DEALER WILL ONLY ALIGN TO FACTORY SPECS. THE TIRES ARE S-02 BRIDGESTONES. A LOCAL ALIGNMENT SHOP RECOMMENDED AGAINST MY SUGGESTION OF REMOVING THE TIRES FROM THE RIMS AND SWAPPING SIDES PRIOR TO AN ALIGNMENT. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EVALUATE PRIOR TO NEW TIRES. THE CAR SEES NO TRACK TIME. I LOVE THE HANDLING, POWER AND STYLING. THE TIRES ARE MY ONLY PROBLEM. SORRY FOR THE LENGTH AND THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ADVICE.

Please turn off your capslock.
You have too much negative camber in the front. You don't have to get an alignment at the dealer; there are many places that will do an alignment to your specs. However, factory specs will alleviate your problem.

there are many threads discussing the fact that factory specs WILL produce inner wear, if you aren't driving hard enough. that said there have been a number of people who removed from rims and flipped as you mentioned. I personally have lived with it and just tried to drive harder. i think there is a sticky or an FAQ all about alignment specs.

Yes, I see what you mean about about others having this problem.
Blizzaks are very soft though, so I don't think that's the answer. Some of those writers mentioned having high air pressure in their tires; I run at 32 psi so maybe that's the difference.
Anyway, I'd guess this thread will be moved to the Tire Rack forum.
