Airbag removal question:

So I have to leave the bag in the car if I want to retain use of the cover? It sounds as though it doesn't clip to the dash anywhere. Am I correct?

Yes, you can use just the cover alone. The tabs which secure the cover to the dash are on the top outer edge of the cover if you look at the pictures. The tabs I mentioned before which secure the airbag to the cover are completely different as I pointed out in my previous posts. Do yourself a favor, simply get started on this job and don't look back because all your questions will be answered as you work through this.
