Faking out the ECT input at cold start will cause even more issues than not running the air pump.

I am goign to look into this, because mine is coming off and I am getting rid of the whole system it pisses me off.
If someone had a AEM EMS would that get rid of the CEL?

Start up ECT has to be under 135* F for the pump to run. The Pump monitor has to run to pass most states emissions testing.
I've said it before, the easiest way to defeat this CEL is to have the entire system functioning OR a AEM EMS, OR a JDM PCM that is not OBDII compliant.
Both the AEM and a JDM PCM won't pass the OBDII monitors either.
