Air pump acting up?
So last week when I came home I noticed my air pump stayed on after the car was off for a few moments, maybe 10 seconds or so. I didnt think too much of it at the time, but then realized that I don't have a cat on my car. I drove the car for the first time since then today, and it's about 50 degrees outside and the airpump turns on immediately upon me starting the car.
EDIT: I should add that i do not have a CEL currently
Should I be looking into replacing the Relay or deleting the airpump altogether, or is this normal for the airpump?
This is a MY00 with a CAI, test pipe and exhaust, btw
Thanks

It is designed to run when you start the car up, so that is normal. Not sure about it running 10 minutes after shutdown, I've never heard of that happening.

It didnt run for 10 min, but 10 seconds after the engine was off. Maybe i mistook it for the radiator fans? I doubt it, but i would rule out the possibility. I need to drive it some more to see if the issue arises again. ß

Almost certainly a sticking air pump relay; the air pump's stator will eventually melt from running too long & overheating. Very common problem.
