Air Pump?
#14
Hmmm, The honda dealer, told me the air pump did contribute with the starting, but I guess not. If not the air pump, then what can it be? I know my starter is still good, and my battery is brand new, What could be something else? Oh and I made sure all my battery terminals we're tightened also.

Your dealer is stupid.
Air pump is plumbed after the exhaust. It has no effect on starting. It helps EMMISIONS on startup, but not the cranking speed of the car. These are the facts.
You should buy a cheap code reader and scan the codes yourself. You probably have code P0410 or P0411. They are air pump related, but dont always mean a bad pump. It is usually a simple vac line issue. But that will not fix your starting problem.
You likely have poor connections somewhere or a bad starter.
They just want to sell you a part you dont need. And when it doesnt fix the problem, they willl say "well it was bad and we had to change it to get the CEL off first".

Dont go to the dealer.
Air pump has nothing to do with the way the car starts. it does not help cold starts in any way.

And Bosch O2 sensors, for some reason do not function well on anything high performance. In my experience in the Honda VTEC community and GM LSX community, people who buy these sensors frequently have issues that buyers of Denso parts never seem to have.
If I were you I'd replace my O2's as well.
