Default Air Jack

I've never found a decent jack that I can get under my car and lift it easily. Even the super low ones don't have the reach for the front jacking point and with my springs and lip I don't think any of them will fit anyway.

I recently got a 40L air compressor. What I'm looking for is an air powered jack that is less than 3 inches high, can lift 1000Kg and has a raised height of greater than 12 inches. anybody know of such a beast?

In the mean time, drive your car up on a stack of boards, and you should be able to fit the jack under there

Had the same problem floor jacks. Found one at Sears for $179. It almost looks like a NASCAR floor jack. Instead of two wheels at the front it has one roller that goes across the width of the jack. It's goes real low to the ground and fits under a stock S with plenty of room to spare. Hope this helps

Unfortunately, this company in in the US and I'd expect shipping to be prohibitive on something like this, but you might get some ideas here:

Could it be Kent you have the floor jack MFR model G615 which is a 1.5 ton jack that sells for $119. I have the Craftsman MFR model 50239 which is a 2 ton, regular price $199-bought on sale for $179. Booth look the same in the picture. You can go to Sears.com and look them up. The 2 ton jack fits under my stock S with room to spare.

It looks like that is the sort of thing I could use. But I'm also going to look at using a scissor jack (with more lift than the stock on) powered by a rattle gun or air rachet. Shouldn't take much fabricating and won't rely on air pressure to hold it up.

HOTRODS2000 uses the OEM jack and cranks it with a drill. He actually bought extra jacks and uses four when bleeding brakes or changing tires.
