Air Intake Mounting Question
I bought an air intake for my 2003 S2000 (Weapon R). On the stock airbox there is a soleoid attached with a phillips screw and two push in plastic clips. There is a also a vaccum line secured with three clips. Where is the best place or way to re-locate these? I don't want to just let them hang as they are too close to the engine pulleys. I am considering making my own bracket, but would like to know what other people have done.
Thanks for any information.

I since have gone back to stock, does the pic help? Keep track of the small vacuum lines but you can re-arrange lengths to suit you or buy more hose at the auto parts store . I Zip tied everything down low to the corrugated lines running along the cross member in front of the engine. It keeps it all out of the way of the pulleys. Good luck, it's much easier to just do it for someone in person.

Hey, thanks for the information and the great picture! How did the Weapon R work out for you? You said you went back to stock, so I was wondering. Thanks again.

Since the Weapon -R is the loudest (and best sounding in my opinion) intake out there, it attracted too much attention. With the stock intake I'm stealthy fast. I switch back and forth when I get bored. I've done it so much I can switch from stock to intake in under five minutes. Hope it works well for you. Beware of the Weapon -R haters out there, they are just jealous!!!!!
