I see the Air Intake Extension on the Muz site... anyone using with MY04 - fitment OK or are there concerns? Benefits? Like dislike? Recommend?

If you do a search I believe Road Rage did a write up on his installation. I know Muz claims to be working on one specifically for the 04 though. It does involve some modifications, I didn't want to bother so i just got the Comptech instead.

deeper/louder than the typical tube type intake....not as much intake hum as the filter is enclosed in a box.

i have actually been running searches but came up empty on a thread with pics, so if someone can chime in who has bookmarked this diy snorkel thread for my04, that would be cool.

i think i remember one of speedstar's 04 having the spoon snorkel. it was just a picture. i dont know what the potential issues are during installation on a my04, but im sure it can fit with mild modifications.

Do a search and look for Road Rage's writeup. I know the search sux, but it's there somewhere... He doesn't take pics though. Still waiting on my Comptech from Hardtopguy, but he just reduced the price again if you are interested.
