Default air filter
I'm due for a filter change and was wondering how many of you guys use the factory original as replacement verses K&N or another after market filter.Local dealer here gets around $37.00 for the factory filter. I'm aware that some don't use the stock intake box setup , so my post is directed primarily at those who do.

It doesn't matter much either way. Stock or K&N is fine.

had stock....drove it...
replaced it with K&N drove it.

felt the same to me =)
however the K&N is re-usable so afte rum.. 3 or so washes, it'll pay for itself! haha

The stock filter is an excellent high performance filter.

I'm running a KN FIPK because of the sound...but I'd have kept the OEM filter if I had the box, just because the OEM filter is already high flow. Its preoiled as well!

Had a K&N drop in with my old airbox, and now have a K&N FIPK.

wait what?? the oem filter is oiled too?? it looked like paper to me

anyone try AFE dry/oiled filters? I was thinking of trying that next
