After 3yrs a stupid question..
Burned my accessory fuse with my cheapo compressor.
Can't get the inside fusebox open - turned the little knob and jiggled, still won't open
Been known to break things by forcing , so I thought I'd ask here if there was a trick?

Are you referring to the fuse panel under the dash? There is no cover over it. The diagram is on the ecu kick panel, but the fuse panel is above the ecu kick panel.
If you ever need to remove the kick panel, you have to remove the door sill first.
Hope this helps.

There is an entry on the manual that suggests that you can turn a knob, the cover across the bottom of the steering wheel will drop and one can look at the fuse box ( I'm 63 yrs old and appreciate anything that means I don't have to twist my thickening carcass into small spaces).
Of course the knob really didn't work, so I squeezed my self under the dash and the FB was where DC said it was.
What's Japanese for "Murphy"? The fuse puller was gone and the standard fuses don't fit,(this box uses the narrower mini fuses.
Anyway, got a puller from another vehicle, found another 10a fuse that fit and problem is fixed.
Thanks.
