AFC Neo Help, Tachometer does not work.
I'm encountering a problem when installing my new AFC neo w/ boomslang harness.
when i connect the boomslang harness and the afc to the ecu and start the engine (after setup has been performed) my Tach reads 0 rpms so does the afc.
has anyone encountered this problem or anything similar?
another note: the afc's display flickers when the engine is running.
I've contacted Boomslang and confirmed i have the correct harness.
thanks

Nevermind, i talked to a dyno tuner today explaining my problem and he asked if i had a Boomslang harness? which i do and he says he's seen that problem with a few boomslang harnesses "it's usually a loose connection and we can fix it pretty quick tho". so that's all fine and dandy, but
WTF did i buy this stupid harness for then! $150.00 shipped for a simplified installation and it doesn't work, plus customer support claims ignorance. It got me thinking. . .
People do yourselves a favor and use that $150.00 to have your AFC professionally hardwired, it'll probably cost you half the price and you won't run into this dilema.
to say the least, when i emailed boomslang about the problem i was having and aked if they had anyone else experience a similar problem they replied
"That is a strange problem. Please make sure all the connectors are fully inserted."
i didn't know whether to return the harness or the AFC, what a headache.
