See if this can help.I know you've got it installed, but maybe this can show you any lines, hoses, or hookups you may have gotten crossed up, or forgot.

shouldn't, if everything is ran correctly, and was before you started the car.

Now, if you made a mistake, and the light was on - then you now have corrected the mistake it won't just go off b/c all is well - you'll have to clear the code. This can be done by pulling the "Back Up" Fuse under the drivers side - this is the back up for the ECU - there is a whole write up on doing this in the FAQ/DIY at the top of the forum.

if this isn't the case......

The best thing to do is pull the code. then we'll know what is happening.

it could be totally unrelated....(doubtful) but a chance.

Yeh I realized I skipped the first instruction of "disconnecting the negitive battery terminal" well I kinda "re-installed" my V2 today with all the lines correct and the terminal off as if I were just putting the intake on the car for the first time, the CEL is off the car idles and perform's amazingly I realized it's dangerous now WOT shifting from 1st to 2nd lolz!!!!!

^^ do you have a new V2 system with a small hole close to the filter facing the ground? a small rubber thing is provided to close off that hole, but i'm always afraid that it might get bumped and knocked off. i put a bit of super glue on it, but i was just wondering how other V2 owners are taking care of that.

^^^
rather than super glue, i used a little bit of 100% silicone.

worked like a champ.
