Should be interesting UL, especially considering the hoopla generated over at TPR magazine.

Thanks for lending them your car to develop the V2, couldn't be without my car for that long

If the performance is good I'll be buying one when they come out.

Got the car back, but without a V2 on it. They took it off to build the production version. However, AEM did bring me their own dyno chart. Now obviously, I'm going to reserve judgement until I dyno one myself (in about 3 more weeks according to their estimates.

However, the charts show that the big torque spike of the V1 at 3800 rpm is substantially reduced. But before and after that spike, the V2 gains about 5 lbs-ft of torque. Between 4000 and 6000 rpm there is a pretty consistent gain, which helps to fill in the stock dip in this range.

At 6500 rpm where the torque peaks just after VTEC, the V1 makes 1-2 lbs-ft more, but after that the V2 takes over and make more torque all the way to redline, producing a few more hp than the V1. I'll try and scan in their charts, but its just black and white Excel graphs.

Again, I'm waiting to do my own dyno and see what happens.

Definitely interested to know if it'll be worth switching from a V1 to a V2. Keep us posted, thanks!

Did the V2 deliever on its promise? Or was it a load of cold air (doh!)? This thread needed a bump anyway.
Thanks,
Dan

Still waiting to get my production version. Should be able to get one in a week or two and then I will perform dyno testing. At least in this case its still a CAI, while with the RSX it became a WAI which is not desireable.
