one recomendation id make since this happened to me is to zip tie all the vaccume lines if you havent already, they have a tendency to slip off after a while, and then you throw a code, and like me, you think something bad happened when its only a vac line that slipped off the intake.

put a piece of electrical tape on that hole on the left side right next to the radiator under the hood so water doesn drip right on to the filter

Ive been getting vtec bog somtimes after I wash my car. I checked the vtec solinoid and it is clean. I think maybe the filter on mine is wet cause it looks like some steam is coming threw the exhaust till it warms up, if that makes sense.

thanks, and i mainly mean the lines on the bottom side of the intake, they can slip off easily.
