AEM V2 CAI piping disconnected while driving one day.
I've had a CAI for 2 years now. After changing the starter one day, I realized that my vtec was much louder than normal and sounded different.
I opened the hood at home, and my AEM V2 piping was disconnected from the bottom half and just open near where the radiator fan is in front of intake manifold, and pointing downward. 3-4 inches away was the bottom half of the piping.
I put the piping together immediately.
I didn't drive in dirt, mostly highway and some city to get form home -> work -> home. It was mostly clear weather. And just for one day, perhaps 20-40 miles combined.
How much damage have I caused to my engine?
Is it gonna be alright? I had put in a new filter and changed the oil perhaps 1-2k miles go, should I do another oil/filter change?
