[B]I just installed my AEM V2 and I was looking at the bypass but they have so many sizes (4) from 2.25" to 3"
Does anyone knows which size is the one I need?
thanks in advance

my suggestion, dont do the bypass. it destroys the entire design of the intake. just drive like you have a brain. see a river, realize your not in a boat. and try not to ford it. i mean, seriously, you have to completely submerge the filter and end of the pipe to suck water. dude, water would be flowing up over your hood, im pretty sure you will be able to tell if the puddle you encounter is that deep. search for some results, people have dynoed and played with that lame bypass, and its bad news. laters dave

thanks for the advice...you see i don't know how bad it to have a CAI.
So now I know I can just drive it on the rain, as long as I don't step on a puddle of water....now if it's raining pretty bad and you find this flooding around the road, what should i do? just keep driving or just stop, I mean I don't want to ruin my engine and I really don't know how much water can the CAI can take

Hmm, good question. Going down the road and the whole road is flooded deep, what do you do? I'd U-Turn and find another way to get to where I am going.
I just installed the V2 also, I am not really worried any more about the water issue. Just avoid big ass puddles and you'll be fine.

Digging up an old thread here,
but is there a way to use or make a bypass valve for the V2?
I ask because before i get my AEM V2 installed, i would like to put a BPV on during the wet seasons.
I already know the idea of the umbrella, blocking holes and the obvious not driving through puddles. I just want to be paranoid free during the very wet months.
