I have an AEM V1 CAI and the chirp it makes just as the throttle is depressed has gotten to be more frequent.
When I first got it the chirp really only happened at tip in and now it seems to go on with any driving that has the throttle barely depressed which can be very annoying. When you are driving at very little throttle it goes on often enough to sound like a loose belt - no it's not, I checked.
Since when it comes in has changed I am presuming there is some way to modify what's making the noise.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it or at least reduce it?

i've had a lot of cars that started with intakes but i don't know if i'd call the sound a chirp. maybe i'd have to an aem v1 intake to see if this sounds any different than my prm...

I have heard several people on the forum say they didn't want a V1 due to the chirp and have said they'd rather have the V2, that implies that the V2 or other CAIs don't have it.
Mine is definitely much worse than when new. I thought it was something to do with the mounting of the bundle of vacuum tubes and switch (?) than anything else.
I have definitely never had it go for prolonged periods of time at low throttle opening before.

I have a v1 and have no chirp. Only sound from mine is the weird vacuum/humming sound at idle.
