Hello all ...and thankyou for the suggestions.....I went out and bought an obd2 hand held scanner that reads the dtc codes and tells ya where the problem is. I got the 4010 i think that was the code number.....so i looked it up in helms and followed the trouble shooting check list.....ahhhhh the fuse for my air pump (60a under the hood was blown.) I think it was blown because i had the the vaccum tubes messed up in the start and ran that way for a few days. So i repalced the fuse and no more light. between the helms and the obd2 scanner i feel confident i licked the problem. Its a great tool the scanner ...and with the helms book your really in the know! Thanks again.
