Default AEM EMS VSS Recalibration

I have the 4.57 gears and Yellow box, but haven't hooked the Yellow box up yet. I just recently purchased the EMS and was wondering if I can change the VSS settings in it to accomodate my 4.57 gears instead of using the Yellow box?

Has anyone done this? If so, how do you do it and what do you change it to for the 4.57's?

Thanks in advance.

I could've sworn somebody else recently asked this same question, but I can't find the thread. Anyways, the answer was no, as the speedo gets the signal from somewhere else, and not the ECU (or in your case the EMS).

NO you need to use the yellow box. The chip running the speedometer is in the speedometer. You can correct it in the aem but it won't do anything to the speedometer.

good luck... be careful with the connections under the car, be sure and leave as much tag as you can in case you ever want to take it out.
