Given the conditions where the tuner does a good job, is there any functionality with the car itself (seperate from the motor) that you risk losing going to the AEM EMS?

the ems is great.. it's worth getting, even if you only have bolt ons... it'll be able to tune and dial in the power..

Here are dyno plots with bolt ons each dynoed seperately and then all with the EMS. Pay attention to the deltas. Good power was made.

This was done on a Mustang dyno. It typically produces numbers 15% to 20% lower than a Dynojet.

The EMS would make power even with no mods just by leaning out the feul curve up top. For simple sports tuning for a street car, I'd reccomend an intake, header, and exhaust installed all at once followed by the EMS and dyno time with a reputable smart tuner. That's the way to maximize your gains and your money (you won't have to re-dyno for each new part).
