AEM EMS and CEL ?
I have been considering getting rid of my Greddy Emanage, and going with the AEM ECU. But I am concerned about how this will effect CELs and trouble codes?
Any info on this would be great. Will I still get a CEL on my dash and the same trouble codes with the AEM that I do with a stock ECU and piggyback setup? I have been told that my temp gauge will not work. Is there any other negatives with changing over to the AEM?
Thanx

You won't get normal CELs and codes. It's not OBDII.
But you can set various conditions to trigger the CEL light in software. Because of the temperature gauge problem many set the CEL to light if the coolant reached 100C (215F).
But that is ancient history. Modifry has developed a device to read the coolant sensor and drive the stock gauge so that is no longer an issue.
