Default AEM EMS

Hi Boyz and girlz,

I am looking the AEM EMS as this is going to be the one
thing I will need for FI or NA, but I am unsure if I will need
the extra looms and what is the best model(version) to go for.

Maybe someone with a supercharger can let me know
and the same for someone runing 280+ on a NA setup.

Plug-N-Play Engine Management System with Wideband UEGO
Plug-N-Ply engine management system with built in wideband UEGO.

Part #: 30-1052U

OR

Plug-N-Play Engine Management System
Plug-N-Ply engine management system.

Part #: 30-1052

Is there anything else I will need interms of Management.

Thanks for any advise given.

I'd get the 1052U. The built in wideband is a great feature to have. It is possible to add an external WBO2 to the 1052 later though.

The wideband O2 allows you to monitor your air fuel ratio. The 1052U has one built in. The 1052 does not. If you're going to be tuning it yourself, it's absolutely necessary. If someone else will be tuning, you may want to discuss their preference with them before purchasing either. Personally, I prefer to have a wideband built into anything I tune. It makes datalogging and analysis much easier.

I have a 1052U ready for my next upgrade. I'm going to add an AEM 19 to 1 serial gauge. That will allow me to monitor all the engine parameters with one gauge

I can only try but at this moment its still a long way of
on a NA setup. Supercharger is so much easier.

still in 2 minds weather to go for a NA setup which is
$$$$ or supercharge it.

I was wondering if you get any problems with
trany ie. gearbox, drive shift, diff. at 280whp +

Any ideas...
