Thumbs up Aem Cai V2

Hi,

I recently installed a CAI, but wondering about the fuel issue. Would the car run lean because of added air, yet fuel remains the same? Please answer! Thanks!

If the o2 sensor senses a lean condition, the ecu should correct it.

There's not much of an issue going lean on the OEM ECU as it runs very rich as is.

The problem may come into play if you had an aftermarket ECU which leans it down to ~13.5 and may go leaner if you did have a very good CAI, header, test-pipe and exhaust. The improved airflow may lean things down a little too much.
