If you do a thorough search, you will find a thread with pics regarding the V2 installation. The V1 and the V2 have similar areas where they grab air which is a potential hazard for hydrolock, so you must be careful during those rainy days and never drive through puddles if you have no clue how deep they are.
Comptech, PRM, Weapon-R, HKS and Mugen have designs that are in a lower risk category for hydrolock. The stock airbox is a very low risk design and has a provision to seperate small amounts of water away from the filter.
I currently have a Spoon Air duct and JR filter and I have very little concerns with hydrolock since I didn't modify the airbox (I prefer safety over all-out performance), but will have my V2 intake soon hopefully. I already have the tools and plans to deal with certain issues like protecting the filter area from overhead water, a prototype filter shield and supplemental air entires to feed the intake chamber with the coolest charge possible. If and when my parts arrive, I'll try to some pics to share with you all.
