I installed the AEM this past weekend and wow...what a pain in the a** that was. The instructions might as well have been written in Russian. Very easy to turn a 2 hour job into a 4+ hour job. I must say though, it is well worth the hassle. The sound @7-9k rpm's is amazing to say the least. I can definately chalk my headache up to the CAI (and I want a J's N1 next
). For anyone considering this definately take pictures of all the hoses first. Especially the little 1/8th hoses that lead into and out of the air control solenoid. They are very easy to mix up. Well it's time to go get some Tylenol. The AEM is definately worth the money and the hassle. It leaves the engine bay looking bare though, could a supercharger or turbo be in my future..... I'll post pics if anyone wants but there are enough out there that it's not worth it unless you really really want em. Later

Hello there Matt,
I have installed the AEM CAI as well. I am having a couple of problems. At idle the intake seems to be hissing on and off, which gets to be annoying. Also, my check enginelight turned on. I turn it off by disconnecting the battery, but it turns on again after about 1500 miles. Do you think I connected it wrong? Some people say I must of.

You probably have a loose hose. Check the vacuum hoses and make sure they are tight...you might need to put a hose clamp on the ones attached to the solenoid.
