AEM CAI Heat Sheilds?
I'm interested in protecting the lower half of the AEM CAI from the radiator. I don't know much about heat-resistant materials. What would people recommend?

I wraped my stock airbox with a self adhesive termal pipe wrap that you can get almost anywhere that has plumbing and a/c supplies like Lowes or Home Depot. It is a 2" wide 1/8' thick gray foam with aluminum foil on one side and adhesive on the other. I think it comes in 9' or 10' rolls.
Once you add the wrap to the CAI, I would wrap it with standard aluminum tape for protection and stability. I have had mine in place since May this year with no problems.

you don't have to worry about it. AEM intakes are ceramic coated and transfer VERY little heat. I think it's ceramic anyway, check out there website for more details. I had one on my first Integra and my CL-S and I can tell you that they don't transfer enough heat to make a difference
