Default aem cai cel light

Ok well I installed the AEM intake a couple days ago and everything worked great, parked it that night, no problems

I started the car the next morning and the cell light came on right away. Still runs normal, goes into vtec and what not, just not sure why the light came on.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I did not disconnect the battery when i installed the intake, do i need to reset the ECU? Thanks for any help you can give me

You do not have to reset the ECU when you put a mod on. It'll learn on its own in due time. But now that you have one, you might want to pull the code first to see what it really is.
I'm thinking you messed up the vacuum lines when you did the CAI and the CEL will read P0411. Follow the steps and pictures here and trace everything.

Absolutely. That check valve ensures that vacuum (or pressure) goes only one way. Not only does it have to be in place but it must be installed in the correct direction. Why did you remove it?
