Just a quick question, What weighs more the Aem Cai or stock airbox and filter. Just got a used aem at a good price and i am very curious, i just got my car and dont plan to put it on until i reach a few thousand miles but am curious nonetheless. Thanks alot in advance, I LOVE THIS CAR 2k3 Silverstone, Soon to be debaged on the sides and clear flat corners, Love the clean look... ANY S2k Owners in the New York area, i am new to this board...

Stock airbox, filter, and associated tubes weigh about 10.5 lbs...AEM, filter, etc. weighs about 6.5 lbs, so you save 4 lbs.

Yes, you lose several of the gained hp at the high end of the rpm range. Those rubber flaps were never designed to deal with the amount of air we're pulling at high rpms.
