aem air bypass valve do you really need one?

I think that aem is the most bang for the buck, but others may have there own opinion. I have seen intakes for the s2k go for insane prices. Like those carbon fiber intakes $700 for some. When looking at a 700 dollar intake the 250 aem looks really good. But i think the simple CAI design is perfect for any car.
