I wont be going with coilovers anytime soon. The springs are not hard to install, so you save 200 bucks there. I have the Tanabe GF. The ride is the same as stock and the handling is the same or better. I frequently go on agressive drives and just got back from Fall Colors...absolutely no problems.

Not if you lower with coilovers. Mine is lowered with coilovers , corner balanced and aligned and I have not broken the back loose since I lowered the car. I did it often at the stock ride height but not when lowered. Car corners alot better and is very solid.

^ how long did you let the RAs settle before alignment? do you adjust the height by hand or with the tool?

Lowering the car will give you a more aggressive stance. Handling will not be sacrificed, & will probably be improved if done CORRECTLY.

I lowered the car myself, correctly. It will save you a little money by doing it yourself but more importantly, it will give you a chance to get to know your car if that's of any importance to you.

The most important tip if you choose to do it yourself, is making sure that the suspension is preloaded before you torque everything down. Fairly simple install.

Don't forget to get your alignment done. I waited a week to let the suspension settle before I got the alignment done by a competent shop. Good luck

You won't need a camber kit for the S.
