Chris I would be highly interested in a device that could control the timing.
Im not located in Florida however, but I would really be interested.
let me know if you guys get the ball rollin and are complete with that. I will most likely purchase one from you.

Problem is that I am not sure they will just sell you one, you need to have it installed and tuned by an installer.. is you check out the dastek website they have a list of dealers all over the country.

Not sure to be honest with you, I just told Speedcraft to use an Integra guage pod and make it fit .. and they did -- with the use of a heat gun.

Hi CJB80,
Happy to find someone on the board who has already installed a Unichip programmable ECU.
I'm planning on buying one very soon, there are 2 shop in the country who distribute Dastek Unichip.
Can you just tell me more...Better than V-AFC??Price/quality??
Thank you very much.
Mike.

The Unichip is better than the VAFC, however it is also more expensive (I know my shop's cost and it's more than a VAFC retail) and there is alot of labor involved for the tuning. Installation is a matter of tapping in to the ECU. Dastek doesn't have the docs for installing the product in to the ECU yet I don't believe (unless my shop supplied it to them which is possible..) My shop was able to figure it out without a wiring diagram however..
I don't know if you've ever seen the program to tune the Uni but once you see it you'll know why it's a better product. There is an infinite amount of precision on fuel tuning, support for ignition timing (soon to come) module, turbo module, VTEC module.. All kinds of neat stuff.. even water injection!
It's a pretty neat product.
