Adjustment of Buddy Clubs ??
I am about to install buddy clubs on my car and was wondering if anyone had opinions as to the best ride setting for the shock for a comfortable ride - I am NOT looking for a stiffer ride than stock (I have enough back problems already !!).
Also - I have no idea how to adjust the damn things because the instructions are all in Japanese.
Thanks.

Adjust what? Ride height or the shock adjustment? A fellow HouStook member has these Coil-overs, and he claimed that having the shocks at full soft all around was closest to stock. HTH

Thanks - the adjustment for ride height (the "how to" part of it) is pretty straight forwards (though I have to figure out the "where to set the nuts" part of it) - it is the shock adjustment that has me perplexed - I will try the softest setting - but I have to figure out how to do that and which one it is !!!

I ride with them on 2 in the front and 2 in the back. They r 15 way ajustable
back ones are a little harder to accost, especially the left rear, cause it sits under the soft top motor
just put the Allen key in the hole at the top of the shock, get a pair or needlenose pliers put the Allen key in between the pliers and turn. You cannot reach it by hand for that corner only. All others can be done by hand. Fronts are simple. Every time you ajust, you will hear a "click"
so just count the clicks. Turn clockwise to stiffen, counter clockwise to make softer
if you need any more help, p.m me

Those instructions should do it for the adjustment of the stiffness...
How did you figure out where to set the adjustment nuts on the outside of the shocks ? Trial and error ?
I was told that to adjust the lower nut (the one by itself on the bottom of the units) they have to come out of the car .... is this correct ?
Hasta.

You should be able to adjust the height without removing them from the car. Once the spring perch is locked into place with its lock ring, you can loosen the lower lock ring and screw the entire shock body (using the wrench on the spring perch) until it is at the desired height.
You may also want to read the thread that is in my signature about setup and preload of the JIC units. The JICs and BCs are very similar.
