After some digging, i didnt find any reliable places that i can trust to resurface an ap1 flywheel.
ill have to buy a new one, either the ap1 or the streetlite, the ap1 is more expensive and i think the prolite will be way too light for the streets

Unless the flywheel has a zillion miles on it and is in really sorry shape, you can just take an orbital sander and do a light surface on it to clean up any glazing/hot spots and get a fresh clean surface on it. Its all I have ever done between clutch changes. You shouldn't have to turn it like you would a brake disk.

The prolight is a joy to run anywhere, its not too light for the street. If making the engine more responsive to your right foot a problem, then I'm at a loss as to what the sport car is for. If your commuting in this car in a lot of stop and go traffic with hills, then yeah you will find you need to rev the car up a little more. 2-3lb isn't much lighter, but once you get that 10-11lb flywheel in you will ask yourself why didn't I just get the lighter one. Its a lot of work/effort and cost to swap out a flywheel.
