Well I flushed and replaced the clutch fluid and then bled it. Still does the same thing. I wasn't able to get to look at the clutch lever today. I'll do that on Saturday and report back since my mechanic will be putting it on the lift and tearing open the damn thing.

Wish me luck fellas!!

Have a look at your release fork as well.

The ball at the end of the SC was worn along with the cup in the fork. It only takes a fraction of an inch of worn material to prevent the PP from fully releasing.

That's the last time I will ever pay for something I can do just because it was convenient. Lesson learned.

Good luck Dan. Sorry to hear it wasn't an easy fix - fortunately there's still time before Sebring. Please let us know how this is resolved.

^ Will do. Sebring isn't an issue though, I cancelled. I decided to use the money to acquire a very useful upgrade to my S which will get me some more hp & lb/tq.

My buddy's Tiburon had the EXACT same problem when he replaced his w/ clutch master's stage 3 clutch.
The mechanic was saying that there aren't enough clearance between the flywheel and the friction disk.
He also said that he'll try to resurface the flywheel so that it'll give more clearance.
I don't know what happened after that, but when my buddy got his car back the next day, it worked fine.
I guess I have nothing useful to add to your post, but just wanted to share some experience.
Sorry you're having troubles with it.
Hope you get it solved!
Good luck

Dan

Well, it was the PP that was causing the problem. We switched out for an OEM and it works. Problem is the ACT cooked my Toda flywheel so we had to trash that.

I am going to call ACT tomorrow to send the PP for replacement and resurfacing/shaving down. Then whenever I can afford to have it put back in with a new flywheel, I'll let you guys know. So thanks for tuning in!!
