From your pictures, it looks like you just got done washing your car. If that is true, it makes it harder for us to see what damage you inflicted.

My guess is that you bent the radiator support, that's why the hood won't sit flush.

If that was my friend I would tell him to pay all of my bills first, then get a loan to pay the cop's bill. I wouldnt let him try to pay you later, friends that will wreck your car will also flake on the bill, I almost guarantee that. Make him drive your ass to the bank (in his car), and empty his for the amount of your bills and get a loan for the rest. Theres no reason why you should get stuck fixing any of that especially if you told him not to drive it.

Yes I have insurance from an earlier car but my brother was yelling at me because he says no insurance will do something like cover the damages. I guess he didn't understand me but the former owner says you get 30 days to drive a newly bought car until you need to call insurance. To my understanding, it is only within a city block. I just added the s2k onto the insurance today before letting it checked by repair shop.
I would double check with your insurance co. to see if the car is covered, particularly if the costs is significant.

BTW, my (long-time) g/f and my dad are the only other two people that have driven my S since it was purchased new. Both know how anal I am about the car and both have the means to make sure I have a perfect S in the garage should something happen.

I have frame damage....hopefully it won't be more than 1000 to pay. It's the bar that goes under the engine from side to side. I AM having my so-call friend pay for it. He hasn't promise any miracles but I will be sure by next week at least his parents will know and somehow can assure me of any money from his end.

what is OP? is that me? I'm in California.

tires coming monday so I will get it installed and aligned on Wednesday from another friend who works at a shop.

Frame Damage???? Damn, hopefully it can be restored to be good as new. This could cause the value of the car to be diminished even if it does get fixed though Carfaxs often will review that the car has frame damage.

carfax is lame, if the work on the car is done outside of an insurance claim, most times the damage isn't reported to carfax. i.e. my experience with my ap1

i'm hoping that's the case. The guy says its just a bar that needs replacement and if everything goes smoothly, he doesn't see why the car will have anymore problems. Just need to rely on expertise to give me assurance and calm state of mind. Nothing seems to be un-fixable so I guess the only thing is getting someone to pay for it. that will be tomorrow.
