Take your car to an independent shop to have them check, Honda dealer just want to make big $ to replace the whole system.

If an independent shop concludes that your system is actually shot, as most knowledgable posters here said, then the lowest cost is get the whole A/C system from BrianGT, he is in Alanta not too far from Florida so that shipping cost is not very high, then have independent shop put it on. This way you may save more than $1000. Good luck.
