Abs sensor Problems

Abs sensor Problems
Ok so after changing out my springs my abs light came on.
I know it's the abs sensor wire that was stretched when lowering the control arm
I'm going to check the sensor for ohm readings but I'm a newb with a voltmeter
I have never used one before
so my question, where exactly do I put the voltmeter to check for the ohms.
Is it on the orange connections up in the engine bay? Do I disconnect the sensor side and check there?
Or do I check where the sensor meets the hub ring?
Thanks

When you change out springs, it's best to remove the ABS sensors from the A-Arms. Otherwise they get tweaked.
What generally happens is that the wire fractures and you're SOL.
Do you know which sensor it is? Or is that why you're trying to use the Voltmeter?
Probably the easiest thing would be to take to the dealer and have them run their diagnostic to see which one is throwing the code.
Then buy used ABS sensors from the "For Sale" subforum and install yourself (easy).

Yeh i'm trying to find out which one it is.
I would take It to the dealer but they charge 45 bucks just to look up the code, which I think is way to much for 5 minutes of work.

45 is pretty cheap. It's not the labor, it's the use of the scanner you're paying for.
That being said, it's probably one of the front sensors.
You could buy used ABS sensors and swap them out one at a time. Then sell the ones you didn't use.
I'd personally suck it up and pay the $45.
