Replace the sensor with the damaged wire.

You have to look around at some of the near by assemblies. Try the "rear lower arm".

just to give a heads up on my progress. i was going to buy a new wheel speed sensor and just be done with it but my curiosity go to me so i decided since it was "trash" anyways i'll take it apart and figure out what went wrong. and found out my instructor DID break it and he agreed he broke it after i showed him what was wrong. he tried to "help" and rushed us before i could take the wire off to move the hub assembly. so we kicked him off the project and did the other side and found the abs light on. after hooking the meeter up to it i bent the wire in different spots until i found where it would get a reading then when i straighten it out the signal went away. he broke BOTH wires from pulling, less than 1/4 of an inch from the sensor. so i sauderd (horrible spelling) the wires back together with some silicone around it and put rtv sealant around it to keep it water tight. put it all back together and tada!!! it worked. my abs engages and the light went out. i'll wait until the light comes back on and just buy the new wire. saved about 110 bucks!
