Default ABS light

My abs indicator light is on. I recently installed an intake. Any ideas what could be wrong or what things I should check? I do have aftermarket wheels but I wouldn't that would be a problem.

Thanks

The indicator will come on for any of the following reasons:
-only the drive wheels rotate
-one drive wheel is stuck
-the vehicle goes into a spin
-the abs continues to operate for a long time
-the vehicle is subject to an electrical disturbance

Any of these seem familiar?

Have you driven the car, turned the ignition off, and then driven the car again? Some ABS faults will reset themselves.

Check the fuses.

If that doesn't work, pull the code and see what's wrong.

(Page 23-19 of the Helms manual describes how to reset the ABS diagnostic codes. This should only be used if you are confident that the code is in error. Also, it says to use only Honda's special tool designed for this purpose. It explicitly says not to use a jumper wire. I have done this, using a jumper wire, and my airbags did not explode nor did my car catch on fire. But YMMV.)

thanx mike, I did play with the fuses when trying to reset the CEL I got for vacuum lines. I'll re-check the fuse box.

No luck. Could their be a cable that I mistakenly unplugged during the CAI install?

If you followed the instructions for putting on the CAI, you should not have touched anything that is associated with the ABS. Your ABS sensors are located at each wheel hub and the ABS module under the hood by the brake reservoir. Did this happen right after you had the wheels put on? Maybe one of the wheel sensors got damaged.

As a general rule, the ABS connectors are orange. You didn't unplug a wheel speed sensor by accident did you?

How long ago did you put the intake on? If its related, the ABS light would come on during your first drive after installing the intake.

The sensor for the RF wheel is in front of the RF shock tower. Depending on what intake you have, you might disturbed the connector somehow. There will be a wire coming straight up from the frame in that area, make sure the connector is plugged in.

Sadley the thing is I don't remember when I got the ABS light. I just noticed it after dealing with the CEL from the comptech intake install. I'll get the code pulled tommarrow if the dealer is open.

I took it to the dealer this weekend and got an error code 11-1, which is the right front wheel. I'm going to recheck the wiring as the intake I installed is in this area.

Edit: Found the problem. One cable sitting under the intake box was unplugged
