ABS Light = Seized crankshaft?

ABS Light = Seized crankshaft?
Ok guys, here's another weird problem. I have an 00 s2k here at the shop, last 4 vin 33XX.
Here is what the customer has stated has happened. He is long out of warranty, a level headed guy, and has no reason to fabricate a story:
Quote "Drove up to 130+ mph (5th geer). Passing 125ish ABS light came on. Slowed down to 90ish, tested brakes; they locked up. Slowed down even more to 70ish, began hearing noise (I thought coming from rear) sort of like a thumping noise. Got off highway, drove .5 mile on local street, got on another highway, drove 60 mph. Noise persisted, car stalled 4 miles later while on highway. Coasted off highway, let car sit for 20 minutes. Tried starting car, had trouble turning over. Did start, engaged car in first gear, moved about 10 feet, car stalled, never to start again."
Upon initial inspection the crankshaft is locked up solid, verified by a 3 foot breaker bar on the crank. The oil is clean, done a few weeks ago, and right on the full mark. There are no leaks at all. NO CEL, or pending codes.
I pulled the plugs: no mechanical damage to plugs, all piston tops are equally carboned. I will post more findings as I go, only had a few minutes this weekend for a quick look.
I have done high speed runs of this nature countless times. Anyone care to take a stab on why this guys motor locked up solid? I can get 0 movement from the cranckshaft. You would think if a piston were frozen to the cylinder wall, I could get a trace of play in the crank. No dice.

I'm willing to bet the ABS light is likely going to be a vehicle speed sensor malfunction.
As for why the crank is completely siezed i have no idea. Are there bearings or something that could be frozen preventing it from turning? I have never taken apart our bottom end all the way to the crank so I don't know. pardon if I sound like a newb. lol

Have you measured the play on the crankshaft on a perfectly healthy one? If so, what did it look like?
