No updates. Never been resolved. I'd never let the dealer replace the unit... if they "diagnosed" that I'd buy a used one off of ebay and do the install myself. I still have no idea what the problem is.

I had a similar problem when the ABS sensors were covered in dielectric grease. Fortunately, I had a Racelogic system that could graph and log each individual wheel sensor. Theoretically, you could tap the ABS sensor wires as they go into the ABS pump and hook up a pulse meter to that.

If you had a really good friend, you could swap your sensors into his car one by one and see if the problem transfers over.

Your problem seems to be mechanical, since you have no light on. Concentrate on the toothed rings.

Make sure they are running true. Have someone turn the wheels by hand and watch them very carefully with a bright light.

Make sure every single tooth on each wheel has no blems or damage.

Make sure the rings are tight and have not spun out of position, and are not split.

Make sure there is zero play in all 4 wheels.

I've looked at every toothed ring. They are all in very good shape and are all surprisingly clean. I do not see a single tooth that is damaged. Rings seem to spin true... to my naked eye anyway.

ABS is on all the time now. It's really bad. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it into the dealer. I'm just concerned that they won't know how to trouble shoot this properly... I have a feeling I'm going to be looking at a major bill here...

You need a scanner to read the ABS data.

See what the wheel speeds are at stand still.

Um, they're at 0.. lol. Just kidding.. I'm trying to get an appointment for my day off tomorrow. I'm going to wear a chastity belt so they can't rape me as easy...
