>>So at 120 MPH you are moving at 176 feet every second and you are hand measuring stops from this speed to the foot? Wow! No one else can do it.<<

>>>Sure they can and I did. Like I posted before - my office moves a lot faster than that and I have to measure stopping distance on the fly (literally). <<<

Well if you want more credible, accurate, repeatable information about the performance of your brakling system, you need to get some decent test gear. Otherwise your data is not reliable or believable.

I've read a little about the AP calipers. Why do you think they're better than the Pinnacle calipers from the Brake Man? Are they forged, do they provide greater clamping force, ...?
The Pinnacle calipers are not marketed as Street calipers - talking with several folks who own and track them - nothing but good stuff said. I heard about the sheared bolts mentioned by Dave ... but this has been addressed and says nothing of the calipers.
I ran the tests previously discussed (ad-nausium) to determine how well they worked compared to stock. They did extremely well. I have not had the time to track the car with the new brakes (flying too much) and am anxious to do so.

Please explain your post.
The only thing 'S2000' about my car is the cockpit and the body panels. It's ridiculously overpowered, but it does handle extremely well - just like an S2000 should. It's my daily driver, but also my favorite track toy.

The AP brakes aren't the S2000-specific "sports brake kit." They're full-on race calipers. In fact, they're the exact pieces NASCAR uses on their Cup cars. Yes, they are forged, they better withstand the heat, and of course provide greater clamping force.

Even with 265 Michelin PSC front tires, I can lock up the tires (no ABS) at 125mph.

At the last track day, I ran the car HARD and not once did I experience any fade. On the front straight I would be at 150ish mph right before I dropped off the banking, but coming into the Rattlesnake or into the last chicane at well over 100mph, the car would brake just as well as before. Lap after lap after lap. I completed the entire 45min session without incident. Then the next session. And the next...
