I didn't cut a thing and it's in there. Did I miss something very important? Is there a performance benefit to cutting the airguide?

And it seems to me that this should only be done if you have the SS front. Maybe?

The airguide should be cut if you don't have the SS front bumper. On the stock bumper, the CAI will get air from the front damn which will be hampered by the air guide if not cut according to the instructions.

It's really no big deal.

I just put mine on and it's awesome. I had someone do the cut mind you, as I would have screwed it up.

You'll want to park with your hood open so you can see the damn thing all the time.

I felt the air guide and it seems that there are already cuts in it. Do you have to cut out more?

I just ordered one.......Was getting the bumper off a mess? Was it pretty easy? How much time should I budget? (w/o the hood cutting)

You don't need to remove the bumper at all. It can be done without removal.

I would cut the slats out completely so that air flow is at optimum.
