Default _My Dyno Results_

I see that many s2000 owners are inquiring about performance gains with basic bolt on parts. I dynoed my car many months ago but did not share my results. Rob at Speedquest dynoed my car on their DynoJet Model 224x chassis dynometer. Overall, I was very impressed with my gains. I have the following parts:

Apexi VAFC II
T1R cat back exhaust without test pipe version 1
AEM Cold Air intake V2

Note: my baseline dyno inlcuded intake, exhaust, and untuned VAFC II. I am estimating that my AEM V2 CAI gained around 2-3 hp and my T1R exhaust without test pipe gained around 7 hp give or take 1 hp. According to these numbers, my stock baseline would be around 189 hp.

With the tuning of the VAFC, each dyno increase significantly when he adjusted the settings. My vtec engagement point is set at 5800 RPM. Overall with all the parts and with tuning, I gained about 18 rwhp. With the t1r test pipe, it should yield an additional 5 hp or so.

Do you mind posting your VAFC-II settings? There is a library page listing VAFC settings for various configurations. It's helpful to see trends.
BTW - nice gains.

Yeah, we actually tried to drop it a little more, but it lost power. The most efficient point was at 5800 for me.

Looking at that photo of your exhaust, you may want to adjust the fitment a bit further from your rear bumper cover or put some kind of insulation/spacer in there.
Ask me how I know..
Nice gains BTW!!
