97k miles on my AP2 - switching to Redline MT-90?
Okay guys.. So, currently, I have the transmission out of my MY05, doing a full replacement of the bearings on the secondary shaft. While I have it out, of course, I've got to fill 'er up with some new tranny fluid.
Here's the scenario.. I had the standard, run of the mill Honda stuff in there, until 36k miles exactly.. and since then, I have been running GM Synchromesh. Now I am at 97k miles.. Whew!! And now that I'll be tracking my car more (part of my 100k mile resoultion.. lol, track or die!), I would REALLY like to switch to Redline MT-90.
Being that this is a full-synthetic formula, is it safe to make the switch to full synthetic at 97k miles???
Help!!?
Thanks guys!

Gotcha.. Thanks guys. I think I'll be running the SMFM. Don't want to run the chance of any damage, switching over to full synthetic at 100k. lol.
Cheers!
