I just took my s2000 into the dealership for a diff fluid change. It looks like they used the wrong washers for the fill/drain plugs. Part number 94109-20000.

Will these washers cause leaks since they're 20mm vs the correct 18mm washer?

I'd be more worried about them using the wrong diff fluid...

They used the correct diff fluid, Honda Hypoid Gear Oil 80W90.

The washers are close to the same size as the bolts are of similar size, it is just that the fill bolt washer is copper and the drain bolt washer is aluminum. I am not sure what part they doubled up on, as the part numbers I have are different than what you listed. I doubt you will have any leaks. I tend to re-use the copper fill bolt washer a few times over, the aluminum drain bolt washer I throw out each time.

The copper fill bolt washer is kind of a special order washer, I bet the dealership would not have one in stock as it would take a bit of time to get one. The mechanic likely put on a different washer that they had in their possession at the time based on the size of the bolt, probably from a different Honda vehicle.

I tend to buy a few of the proper washers at a time so I have them available when I need them rather than having to wait for them.
