Default 8000k Ebay HID bulb D2C - with pics and how

Hi guys, this is my first contribution and im not sure this exists already, so please forgive me if i sck

I'm asian and i seriously love the blue HID's on every single car i drive. As we all know, s2k has stock hid's but they are 5300k (white'ish with a slight bit of yellow) which bmw, benz , audi and many expensive cars has .... Though, to be different from them, i love the 8000k. I expected for a deeper blue but on our projectors, it looks absolutely amazing and stock like the newer acura's 2011 has.

I bought it from ebay, 11$ shipped to canada. 8000k, d2c are what i bought because it fits any D2 hid housings , s2000 uses D2S but D2C are universals.

The built of the bulb are much cheaper than the OEM philips we have. The OEM bulbs has this metal pieces around the bulb itself (im guessing its to dissipate heat further and have better hold of the bulb)

The bulb i received is made mostly plastic and the bulb itself, so it is even more fragile than the OEM we have. I searched on google on "How to" change bulds for the s2k but people are over-reacting and over-care. Bulbs are bulbs. The HID's one are just more fragile thats all.

Installation:

Installation was very straight forward. I have small hands ( i wear small size gloves) S2000 has both sides two little holes which you can reach the HID bulb with your bare hands. Those holes are actually big enough for you to peak at the bulb compartement for the HID.

First, i disconnected the battery. I used pliers to slowly bite and turn out the single screw that is holding the bulb housing of the HID. After the screw is half out, you can finally use your hand to turn it out. It should have enough torque to get it out. After this, turn the grey HID cover anti-clockwise until it can be slide out.

Now, you can see a black plug plugged behind the HID bulb. You can read on the plug it says "Lock" , twist the other side, the plug will come out.

The hard part is to get unclip and re-clip the bulbs. You can slightly see the compartement but you can see it a bit, you will have an idea of how it is. The compartement is round shaped but on the middle top , you can feel with your hands theres like a "notch" or like a blanked space. This is where the clip is and both sides has a clip to be clipped. Thats how i did it, i used my feelings and logic and got them clipped perfectly.

Note: The bulb's blue/brown stick on the HID bulb faces down in order to get it fit perfectly into the housing.

Now put back the black plug, twist it to lock it. If you have humidity into your headlight lamps like me, do not put the grey plastic back because this will allow the head light to breath. The reason why it creates humidity inside the headlight is because there is a small hole somewhere in the housing, our HID's create heat and it produces stupid bubbles .... Therefore, i strongly recommend to leave the housing open. I did it for my headlight that has bubble. The other one i shut it obviously.

Plug back the battery, now your done.

Sorry for the pics, it has a bit color difference because my head lights are not alligned. I will find a night to allign them

Something is off.. you shouldn't have a double cutoff like that. See the pic below, just one sharp cutoff line. I wonder if it is the bulb?

8000K is just a color temp, not operating temp.
