7lbs pulley for Comptech
#21
First, let's get the units right. It's a 7# pulley (# as in psi), not a 7".
I'll let Avi talk about price if he so desires. It is his car.
I haven't inspected the Comptech site too carefully, so can't say why it doesn't show. The aftercooled kit is listed and the aftercooler itself is an optional part that can be retro-fitted to older kits that came without.
Yes, we went to the Comptech factory and Avi had them install the new pulley on site and had the car dynoed before and after the install.

I have the comptech kit with aftercooler. The car is daily driven and from time to time pushed hard. If I got the 7psi pulley and had it installed and fuel tuned properly, would I need to worry about reliablity (anymore so than I should now?) I'd really like to do this but am wary as I don't want to put anymore undue stress on anything and cause it to break.
Thanks

I belive you will be fine. As long that your A/F styes about the same. One option you have is to waite and see how people who installed the 7 psi pulley are doing.

Great Results!
But i have a problem installing the pulley....
The screw seems really locked and all my i couldn't get it loose with all my efforts....
I even nearly destroyed a new wrench and the pulley screw. Because of this i made a small photo.
Could you please tell me in which direction i have to loosen the screw? Just tell me the direction if you standing in front of your car (like on the picture).
So far i only tried to open it in the right direction (seeing from front of the car)....

It's a conventional bolt and thread so it's anti-clockwise to loosen it or, looking at your picture it's the 'right'.
That said, I took the SC off the brackets and used an air gun to remove the bolt and replace it after swapping pulleys.

I just got my 7 psi pulley dynoed. Without tuning I was running really lean, like into the 14's all throughout the rpm, range. We did 4 runs and turned up the regulator as we went ended up between 12 to 13 all throughout. Where should the air fuel be? I know its tough tp adjust it without a real engine management. Im just trying to run safer.
BTW dynoed at a little over 300. Dont remember exactly need to download the dynojet program to see the results.
